Welcome to my “Random Musings on Theology, Life and Art” Blog.
My name is Bill Erlenbach. I am a Pastor, an artist, husband to a wonderful wife and three great adult kids. I have a Master of Divinity at Briercrest Seminary (theology). I currently have the privilege of pastoring Clareview Community Church (Evangelical Free Church) in North East Edmonton, Alberta.
The purpose of this blog is to promote thoughtful Christian theological reflection, particularly as it relates to life and ministry. As much as I love the academic side of theology, meaningful theology needs running shoes.
I do not expect everyone, if any one, to agree with what I write. If it causes both you and me to pause and think a little deeper about theology, life and ministry, it has achieved its purpose.
As a brief disclaimer, the opinions and reflections written about here are my own and not necessarily those of the church I pastor or the Canadian EFC conference. That said I trust that what I write is consistent with the letter and intent of the EFC statement of faith. However, please do not presume my personal musings to be sponsored by or affirmed by those I seek diligently to serve.
Feel free to check out my art site as well.
